The Karangantu Junction is an independent digital archival portal and curatorial catalog dedicated to aggregating, indexing, and bridging scholarly works, literature, and historical objects related to Banten that are dispersed across the globe.

However, vital resources—ranging from legacy journal articles and manuscripts to historical maps—are currently scattered across international libraries, museums, and repositories, making centralized discovery difficult. Although many of these materials are now open access, the lack of a unified gateway often poses challenges for researchers attempting to locate them.
Addressing this challenge, The Karangantu Junction serves as a non-profit aggregator. We collect metadata and digital references from various global institutions while strictly upholding academic ethics and copyright safeguards. Utilizing open-standard interoperability frameworks, visual assets are primarily referenced through linked manifests, while supporting documents are systematically indexed.
